Help
We'll try to answer all of the common questions you'll face right here. If you don't see an answer, then feel free to send us an email. You can try calling, but since Marc will be answering the phone, he may be busy raising money, talking to partners, or taking a shower.
How does Vyoo work?
You probably already saw the storyboard on the homepage. If not, it's a pretty good explanation. Vyoo captures a variety of information from you as you answer the questions we present to you. We input your responses into an algorithm, and out pops a score. The score is a multi-dimensional composite. Everyone has a distinct score which allows us to calculate how close or far you are from other people. Pretty cool, huh?
Ok, I get it, but what does it mean?
Your score helps define the type of person you are, and those with similar scores are actually quite similar to you. This is one of the core components of trust.
So what does it do for me?
People tend to trust others who are similar to them. Our hope is to connect you to similar people (or even similar things!) so that you can better trust the information you're looking for.
This sounds scary... I don't want other people to find me
That's fine. You can still participate without sharing any personally identifiable information. But you still might get messages from other users looking for advice from you. We know that some people love to share themselves online and some don't. It's your choice. But we hope you find value and participate - because it will make your decision making easier in the end.
I don't mind sharing, but how safe is this?
You are deciding what you want to share with others, not us. Your trait score doesn't allow anyone to infer any personally identifiable information about you. You fill out your questionnaire and the only thing that matters from that questionnaire is your relative distance to other users (or things – like a hotel). Even if you're matched to another user, you may be close in only 1 area of measurement; therefore it becomes incredibly difficult to infer things from your proximity to anyone else.
What do you guys do with our data?

What does the future hold?
World domination! Not really. We hope to expand our offering to a number of other categories. The Restaurant market is our next logical step. And then we hope to move to healthcare (doctor, hospital, and dentist information), fashion, and beyond. Send us your ideas and we'll definitely work to implement as many as possible - or at least the ones that make sense to do.
